Preface Studios Plus ("we", "us", "our") operates the Perday mobile application ("App") and the Perday website at https://www.paytracko.in ("Website"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We believe your financial data is your business. The App is designed with privacy at its core — your income, client names, project details, and invoice data stay on your device and are never sent to our servers unless you explicitly choose otherwise.
The following data is stored only on your device in the App's local database. We cannot access it:
Profile information: When you set up the App, the name, email address, phone number, and role you provide are sent to our server (hosted on Supabase). This data is used solely to manage your account, keep your free trial intact across reinstalls, and send you a PIN reset code if you request one. It is never sold or shared with third parties.
Installation timestamp: We also record your installation date on our server to calculate your trial period status.
Analytics (planned): We may introduce anonymous usage analytics in the future to improve the App. If we do, we will update this policy. Analytics data will be anonymised and aggregated — never linked to your personal data.
Your data is stored locally on your device using IndexedDB, the browser's built-in secure storage. It is sandboxed by the operating system — other apps cannot access it.
The only data that leaves your device is your profile information (name, email, phone, role) and installation timestamp, transmitted securely over HTTPS to Supabase. Your financial data — projects, work logs, payments, invoices — never leaves your device.
If we introduce cloud sync in the future, your data will be encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Cloud sync will always be opt-in — never enabled without your explicit consent.
The App currently uses the following third-party services:
Supabase: Stores your profile information (name, email, phone, role) and installation timestamp. Also powers the email OTP verification used for PIN reset. Privacy policy
Apple In-App Purchase (iOS): Processes Premium subscription payments on iOS. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Google Play Billing (Android): Processes Premium subscription payments on Android. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
We do not use any advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers.
Local data: Stays on your device for as long as the App is installed. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all local data.
Profile information & installation timestamp: Your name, email, phone, role, and install date are retained on our server for the duration of your use of the App. You may request deletion of all server-side data by contacting us.
Payment records: Apple and Google retain purchase records per their own policies. We do not independently store payment history.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023), you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. We honour these rights as described above.
For users in the European Economic Area, we comply with GDPR principles. Our legal basis for processing your profile information and installation timestamp is legitimate interest (to manage your account and trial period).
The App is operated from India. If you use the App from outside India, your profile data and installation timestamp may be processed on servers located outside your country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that any data transfer complies with applicable data protection laws.
The App is a professional productivity tool and is not specifically designed for or directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Under the DPDP Act, processing personal data of children (under 18 in India) requires verifiable parental consent. The only data we collect from any user is name, email, phone, and role at setup — we do not knowingly collect these from children under 13.
The App does not request any special device permissions. It does not access your camera, location, contacts, microphone, photos, or files. The only system feature used is the native share sheet (for sharing generated invoice PDFs), which is initiated by you.
The App itself does not use cookies. For cookie usage on our website, please refer to our Cookie Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. For material changes, we will notify you through the App.
